Express Global Logistics (EXG) was awarded a contract for the shifting of 4 Ammonia Converters (Top Section) from one of the largest fabricators in India.
The scope included multiple shifting and complete supervision of the 4 Ammonia Converters. The units each measuring 20 x 5 x 5 (m) & weighing ~280MT, had to be loaded & unloaded at various job sites for 36 days.
The challenge EXG had in hand was not only the timelines to be met, but also the inclement weather conditions. Due to heavy rains the approaching roads were flooded & muddy, hence obstructing vehicle movement. EXG used heavy steel plates for it’s 16 Goldhofer Hydraulic Axles, prioritizing safety of the personnel and the cargo. The EXG team safely accomplished the shifting of these 4 units of Ammonia Converters on time.
