Navratri, the vibrant Hindu festival dedicated to the worship of Goddess Durga, is a time of celebration and joy. At Express, we decided to infuse the festive spirit into our daily routines and organized a series of exciting events that brought together colleagues from different locations across India.
Welcoming the Spirit of Navratri: We kicked off our celebrations by encouraging employees to dress in the traditional colour each day and share their pictures with us. Each day, the office ambience was transformed as everyone showed up in vibrant attire, radiating energy and setting the festive tone. From orange to white, yellow to green and red, blue to purple, the office became a kaleidoscope of hues, reflecting the diversity and unity within our team.
Employee Participation: It was heart-warming to witness the overall participation and enthusiasm across all teams. The festive spirit brought out the playful side of everyone. The dress code was followed with great zeal, sparking conversations, laughter, and a sense of camaraderie.
Garba Party: The highlight of our Navratri celebration was a grand Garba party held on the terrace of our head office on the last day of the festival, with scrumptious snacks and lively music where employees showcased their dancing skills. It was a sight to behold everyone immersed in the joy of the festival, dancing to traditional beats and forging deeper connections with their colleagues.
Dress Competition: To add an extra layer of excitement to these celebrations, we organized a dress competition across all our office locations. Employees enthusiastically participated, showcasing their creativity and traditional fashion sense. A panel of judges selected the best-dressed male and female from each location, awarding prizes and accolades.
